Do you know that you have a friend who loves you at all times?

(Proverbs 17:17) He is someone who knows your innermost secrets, and nevertheless loves you unconditionally.

He is a friend who will never abandon you, no matter how many times you mess up. (Romans 8:35) And he is the most powerful person in the universe, who wants to fight your battles for you.

Who is that amazing friend?

That friend is Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

He loves you so much that he laid down his own life for you. And if you were the only person in the world, he would still have done it. He says  “I have come that they may have life.” (John  10:10)

God not only has love, but he is love. (1 John 4:16)  And as a result of that love, he gave his only Son  for you! “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16-17)

What is your part?

You have a decision to make, and it's the most important decision you'll ever make!  You can either decide to accept that love, or you can decide to reject it. Jesus said in John 3:3, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

What must one do to be born again?

1. REPENT Recognize that your sinful life is wrong and a change of heart, attitude and direction is required. "I tell you, except you repent, you shall all likewise perish."

(Luke 13:3)

2. BELIEVE IN JESUS "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

(John 3:16)

3. CONFESS JESUS AS LORD "If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord

Jesus and shall believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.  For with the  heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10)
